No. TithiTap is built offline-first — Panchang calculations happen on your device, so most features work without internet. A connection is only needed for things like account sync and notifications.

No, account creation is optional. You can use most features without signing up.

Signing up requires only basic credentials (email or linked identity provider). However, to fully personalise the Panchang calculations and build your profile, you can optionally provide details such as your First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth (DOB), Time of Birth (TOB), Place of Birth (POB), and Gotra.

Location helps calculate Panchang details accurate to your region — including sunrise/sunset times, tithi transitions, and festival dates that may vary by geography.

Yes. You can manually select your region instead. Location permission is optional — the app will still provide Panchang data based on your chosen region.

Panchang calculations can vary due to different calculation methods and regional traditions. TithiTap uses established Vedic astronomical algorithms, but minor differences from other sources are normal and expected.

Enable notifications in the App settings. You can choose which types of reminders you'd like to receive — festivals, tithis, or auspicious timings.

Disable notifications from App settings or your device's notification settings. Turning off notifications won't affect any other app functionality.

Yes, TithiTap supports multiple regional languages. You can change the display language from the App settings at any time.
